Britannica’s annual talent show ‘Britannica’s Got Talent 2016’ show-cased 30 students’ acts from Year 1 to Year 11. The show involved 42 students performing talents of singing, dancing, drumming, martial arts, playing an instrument and doing magic tricks. It was proved once again that Britannica truly has got lots of talent among our students!

Britannica's annual talent show has become one of the highlights of the year. Theatre was full to its last seat last and students as young as 5 were confident and proud of presenting their skills to this large audience. Before announcing the category winners, visiting performers of band 'Noukilla' rocked the audience to some favourite tunes! Our talented celebrity judge panel at the night was made of four judges. David Goodwin, our Principal and resident judge was accompanied by three guest judges: Feifan Oh, Andrew Bull and Gary Lucas. Feifan Oh is the founder and Executive Director of Concord Music. An accomplished concert pianist and teacher - She is a graduate of New York’s Manhattan School of Music, and New York University. Our second guest judge was Andrew Bull who is a director and founder of a marketing agency Shine Communications specialised in linking music and entertainment with international brands in China. Our third judge was Gary Lucas – an incredibly gifted guitarist who achieved worldwide fame with Captain Beefheart, also collaborat-ing with Leonard Bernstein, Jeff Buckley, Lou Reed and many others. We were honoured to welcome such prestigious judges to Britannica! Congratulations to all students who took part in Britannica's Got Talent 2016 auditions and performances! Everyone did incredibly well and their talents, enthusiasm and confidence have been truly impressive. Warm thanks to teachers and staff who were helping with the production to make the magic happen. Special thanks to Britannica's Director of Expressive Arts, Mr Stephen Morris, for masterminding and directing the entire production, and last but not least, our visiting judges and band Noukilla for making the night an extra special experience for our students and everyone involved!
