Kindness Week here at Cranleigh has become a much anticipated annual celebration; an opportunity to really showcase the importance we place on this particular value within our Cranleigh Code. We pride ourselves on being an exceptionally empathetic and compassionate community every day of the year. However, by setting aside one week in particular, and taking advantage of it to make extra special gestures, we celebrate just how important kindness is to one and all.

Thank you to our parents for their support which included the wonderful Kindness Pledge board and stunning bracelets. Thanks to our Year 8s for their Random Acts of Kindness all week which saw so many of the school’s behind-the-scenes support and facilities teams receive touching gifts of delicious 'Kindness Kookies' and hand written words of thanks. Year 8 pupils also visited Pre-Prep at lunch time today to work with our youngest pupils. Finally, a big thank you to Miss Natassja Williams and Mrs Nancy McManus, as well as to our wonderful Parent Reps, for their unending organisation, enthusiasm and support. Pupils in the Prep School who achieved the most Random Acts of Kindness during our Kindness Week have been awarded certificates and badges in recognition of their wonderful efforts on this initiative. Well done to all.
