Harrow Bangkok reaches major milestone in ambitious campus expansion
The new British Ambassador to Thailand, Mr Brian Davidson’s first visit to Harrow International School Bangkok to officially open the brand new Pullman Lower School Library marked a special moment in the school’s ambitious journey to redevelop and create a host of brand new campus facilities.
This modern, exciting new facility marks the latest in a five-year period of new facilities to provide for an outstanding 21st-century appropriate education, including:
• A new and enlarged Sixth Form Centre, The Rayleigh Centre
• Development of our Early Years Centre and new complex including Little Lions Centre for our toddlers, parent café and lounge, and school shop – called The Cub House
• Improved sports amenities such as a covered multi-purpose athletics centre, The Den
• Brand new ‘Boarding Village’
This brand new Boarding Village complex has hotel-style rooms; access to free tutors for extra revision sessions; state-of-the-art technology to ensure student safety 24 hours a day.
Our new Creative and Performing Arts Centre is soon due for completion and marks the end of the HBuild project. This will be completed in the heart of the School, to accommodate Art, Music, Drama and Design and Technology. Mr Michael Farley, Head Master comments: “Just as our educational and pastoral programmes are continuously being improved, so are our facilities. All of our community is benefitting from our outstanding, 21st-century appropriate Campus.”
