We recently had an opportunity for 5 students to participate in a Bentley-designing competition.

The guidelines were to design a car for the year 2050, with the theme "Be Extraordinary". I, along with Rachel Chan, Ahrim Lee, David Kim and Chin Ho made a team. After researching about Bentley's target market, British credentials and trademark design, we made a pitch to Ms Burton-Morgan about our car. We then had to make a 3 minute video on our car that would be sent to Bentley for further selection. We went to the British High Commissioner's Residence to present to a panel of 5 judges. Out of 12 schools, we were part of the top 4 that were promoted to the final round: presenting to His Royal Highness Prince Andrew in person, at the Alice Smith primary campus. Unfortunately, we didn't get first place but it was an experience of a lifetime, and I hope I get to participate in similar events in the future. Olivia Ho 10ND
