Last week, parents, families and friends watched electrifying performances by KS2 students of ‘The Rocky Monster Show’, a Rock ‘n’ Roll musical, featuring a dazzling array of student talent and parodying the best of Phantom of the Opera, Young Frankenstein and the Addams Family.
Pupils dressed in ghoulish makeup, terrifying costumes and acted on fantastic sets, created especially for the show. The props, face paints, lightening, smoke, costumes, music, dance moves and singing were all outstanding.
This magnificent performance, which took place over two days, showcased the amazing range of student talent and collaboration across the school, as pupils are actively encouraged to express themselves creatively.
The KS2 production was a huge success and Britannica extends its thanks to those who participated or contributed to the show in any way. Everyone involved put everything they had into this exciting piece of theatre and ‘The Rocky Monster Show’ will certainly be talked about for many years to come.
