The Sixth Form at Cranleigh is proud to unveil its 2017 cohort. Students arrived with enthusiasm and positivity on their first day, eager to get started on this next, important educational chapter.

Their experience as Sixth Formers will be quite different, as they step up a gear from GCSE level work. Many of their classes are being taught using the Harkness method, which embraces a roundtable, dialogue-based approach which empowers and encourages young people to have an opinion and draw from their own academic research and ideas. Beyond their studies, Sixth Formers will be expected to become role models and leaders across the school, involving themselves beyond the classroom. Each student will also be expected to actively take charge of his of her own future. University applications are just around the corner and in support of that, their first day closes with a careers session designed to provide each student with the support and direction they need.
