The curriculum at DBS is modelled on the National Curriculum for England, significantly enhanced by ‘Wow Learning’, the study of Arabic throughout and a challenging set of GCSE and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. We welcome a wide range of students to study a curriculum which is designed to extend and excite all of them, whatever their interests or ability. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied extra-curricular activities programme.

Admissions

Admission process:

Before applying, please check our website at www.dubaibritishschool.ae for the most up-to-date availability information. Applications are accepted when waiting pools are open, but places are not guaranteed. Applications are subject to a non-refundable AED 500/- application fee. Assessments are required for all year groups and can be completed from overseas.

Admission and language criteria:

All lessons are taught in English so we recommend a strong understanding of this language to ensure your child gets the most from their education with us. Sixth Form Criteria - conditional offers are made based on mock GCSE exam results, with a minimum of 6 A to C grades including English and Maths, and Bs in subjects of study. We invite you to visit us for a tour of our campus and to find out more about our school community. Join us for a Coffee Morning & School Tour this Wednesday 28th September from 9:15am to 10:30am, and for our Open Afternoon on Thursday 20th October from 2:00-4:00pm. Our normal office hours are 8am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday.
