School description

King´s College, Madrid, is a highly successful British school, with a long standing tradition of preparing students for entry to leading Universities in the world. Founded in 1969, King’s College provides children with a rigorous and broad British education. Pupils from our schools go on to study at the best British universities as well as those in Spain, Europe and North America. In 2015 we helped pupils win places at many excellent universities including: Cambridge, Berkeley, Duke, UCL, Imperial College, KCL, London School of Economics, Bath, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Good examination results and a place at university for your child are just part of what we strive to deliver. Parents send their children to King’s College because they want their children to be exposed to new ideas, to have their minds stimulated, their intellectual curiosity fostered and their creativity nurtured through both their lessons and the wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer: everything from horse-riding and skiing to debating and football.

Our international purpose-built boarding House, Tenbury House, offers some of the best boarding accommodation in Europe. Opened in September 2011, the residence offers a safe and secure “home away from home” close to one of the liveliest, best-connected cities in Europe. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, under-floor heating and wireless internet access. In addition there is a dining room, a common room, a TV room, a study room, and a kitchen that pupils can use to make light meals, and a laundry. During the evenings and weekends, students have full use of these facilities and can also take advantage of many of the school’s on-site sports facilities which include an indoor swimming pool.
