School description

Situated on an attractive campus close to the city’s amenities and transport links, St. Andrews is a thriving medium sized school with students of more than 45 nationalities. Our well-equipped sport, academic and cultural facilities ensure that all aspects of our curriculum are well supported. We are committed to being creative in how we provide opportunities for children of all ages to learn in an exciting, meaningful, beautiful environment.

Our school is a truly inclusive school that welcomes students of all abilities. We ensure that your child will have an equality of opportunity, by providing a well-resourced learning environment where each child's talents and abilities are recognised and nurtured. We are part of Nord Anglia Education, an organisation which is committed to bringing the best of the world’s educational practices to your child.

Our ethos emphasises high achievement within each individuals potential. The curriculum has been carefully constructed to incorporate the best practices of both the English National Curriculum and more international curricula, such as IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate, balanced with academic, creative and physical activities to develop the whole child.

These programmes are underpinned by a pastoral programme which seeks to develop the individual skills necessary for students to make the right decisions, take responsibility for their actions and have a broad understanding and appreciation of the cultures that live together in our international community.

Today we are a school of more than 1,100 students representing some 45 nationalities and have developed into one of the foremost international schools in Southeast Asia.

Sports and extra-curricular activities

Sports:

Our Sports programme gives our students opportunities to learn, build skills and have fun new experiences outside of the normal classroom environment. We aim to provide a very high standard of coaching and competition for our athletes as well as enable all our students to find something they can enjoy in the sports arena.
Sports at our school is fun, challenging and competitive. The PE curriculum has been developed to suit the needs and interests of our students. We offer many of the sports that you will find in UK schools.

Extra-curricular activities:

Our ECA programme is a valuable part of our school and hope that the wide variety of clubs, community service and residential trips available ensure that every child's extra-curricular needs and interests are catered for.
