Booking Conditions

  1. These conditions apply to all School Entries submitted to Winter’s International School Finder (Winter's) for publication on
  2. ‘Line Entry’ means written copy in respect of any School Entry together with any photographs and illustrations relating to such copy.
  3. The ‘Customer’ means the party whose School Entry has been submitted to Winter's.
  4. Full payment for the cost of publishing the School Entry on shall fall due 30 days after the receipt of the Winter's invoice unless the Customer has obtained prior written agreement from Winter's to other payment terms. Winter's reserves the right not to publish and/or to take down any School Entry for which payment is due.
  5. Invoices raised by Winter's will be in pound sterling (GBP). All other currencies quoted throughout the website have been given for illustrative purposes only.
  6. Customers domiciled outside the UK will be responsible for accounting for such VAT/sales tax as falls due in their own national jurisdiction under the reverse charge protocols.
  7. Winter's shall have the right to make any alterations it considers necessary or desirable in a School Entry or to require any copy to be amended to meet its approval.
  8. In the event of an error appearing in any School Entry which is attributable to Winter's, or if the School Entry is omitted or inaccurately placed, and Winter's fails to remedy such a problem within 10 days of notification by the Customer, Winter's maximum liability to the Customer shall be limited to the return of the entry fee and no other liability of any kind whatsoever shall attach to Winter's.
  9. The Customer warrants that (a) Winter's publication of the School Entry as originally submitted or as amended pursuant to clause 8 will not breach any contract or infringe or violate any copyright, trademark or any other personal or proprietary right of any person or render Winter's liable to any proceedings whatsoever (b) the School Entry is accurate, complete, legal, decent, honest and truthful (c) if the School Entry contains the name or pictorial representation (photographic or otherwise) of any living person and/or any copy by which any living person is or can be identified, that the Customer has obtained the consent of such living person to make use of such name, representation or copy.
  10. The Customer shall indemnify Winter's in respect of costs, damages or other charges suffered or incurred by Winter's as a result of legal action (whether actual or threatened) arising from publication of the School Entry in accordance with the Customer’s instructions.
  11. All School Entries are accepted on the condition that the Customer warrants that the School Entry complies with all relevant legislation, the rules and codes of statutorily recognised regulatory authorities.
  12. If an order is cancelled for any reason, a cancellation fee equivalent to 30% of the cost of the entry will be retained by Winter's to cover administrative costs. No refunds for cancelled entries can be given after the School Entry has been live on for more than two weeks.
  13. Contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
